Our main projects
Teaching Adoptive and Foster Parents for Brasov, Romania
Brasov Romania Child Protection Agency has us handle the pre-adoption training for the county. We also train the state-employed foster parents once a year (15 hour course). As far as we know, we are the only non-profit organization trusted with this level of responisiblity.
Couples Counseling: for any issue or specialized for adoption
We offer general couples counseling, open to any couple who wants to improve their relationship. We also offer counseling specific to the issues around adoption. Couples considering adoption usually are facing some unique challenges.
Support group for children who were adopted
Every Friday afternoon children come together for friendship and games of self-discovery at our support group for children who have been adopted.
Children's and Family Therapy
We help families even when it is really hard. Our Psychologists are certified in Systemic Therapy for families and Couples as well as speech therapy, play therapy, Feuerstein therapy and Biblical Counseling.
Gypsy Family Outreach
Our local church, Return Baptist has an outreach to Garcin a gypsy community of 15,000 people. We take college 30 students to tutor 30 3rd graders in reading. We then share the gospel both with the college students who volunteer, and the families of the children.
Family Camp for Adoptive Families
We have a large camp for over 40 adoptive families from around Romania. There, the families make friends and learn special lessons to help them understand their children and give them the love and care they need.
